Tonight I fished with some regular clients in the kayaks on Lower Tampa Bay. We launched in the afternoon around 3 and headed out to look for the usual suspects -snook, redfish and trout. The guys picked up some nice sized trout working the flats on our way out....

Got Mike and Nate out today to do some low tide pothole fishing. We put in at 9:30 and paddled out to my spot. Using Mirrolure golden bream ‘lil john’ baits rigged on Slayer Inc jigheads we managed to catch 50+ trout up to 24″ (5lbs) as well as a handful of redfish....

Put int this morning around 7am and fished the Fort Desoto area. After a short paddle I started seeing tailing redfish in shallow water. The fish were very spooky and the tide was still slack so I decided to move on and continue scouting the area. Found more tailing...
