Had Tai and Kyle out for an early morning charter this past Sunday. We launched our kayaks into Lower Tampa Bay around 7:30 and started by working topwaters around mullet schools during the falling tide. We got into some decent action from trout and an assortment of other fish. Once the tide had finished going out, we located some redfish but had a hard time getting them to eat at first. As the tide rose we followed the fish in, until finally we got them to chew. After catching a handful of over slot and top slot fish we called it a day around 2.
