Got out with Dave and Marilyn to do some inshore fishing from the kayaks on lower Tampa Bay. There was a slight breeze out of the east and we knew the bite would be a little slow going but off we went.

After a decent paddle we set up and started wading an area with deeper potholes during the low incoming tide. We caught a couple trout and Marilyn got a nice redfish using Slayer Inc Lures soft plastics that went in the ice chest.

After the tide had come in a little we made a move to an area I thought would be holding redfish. It wasn’t long before I found the fish inside a cove and we started catching them. After a few over slots and another keeper to make their limit we headed in after four hours on the water. Enjoy the pics!
