Had Bill and Charlie out for my morning charter and headed out off St Pete Beach to get on the kingfish action. We departed from Gulfport Marina at about 8:30 am and had lines in the water just before 9. With an upcoming front conditions were deteriorating through the day but we stuck it out in the waves and made it happen. The boys were rewarded with several nice kingfish and tons of spanish mackerel action to keep them busy. They would end up with plenty of kingfish for dinner and more!

My afternoon trip had Bridget and her sister down from Wisconsin to do some inshore fishing. Unfortunately it had gotten to windy to venture out into the Gulf, so we stuck it out fishing around Ft Desoto Park. The inshore bite was on fire for the girls, and we caught several snook and redfish including some quality fish in the 10 pound range. The incoming front had the fish really feeding! Today was a perfect example of making the best of adverse conditions.
