Met Scott around 7:30 in the morning to launch the kayaks into Fort Desoto Park on a very cold and windy day. Conditions were terrible, but we were gonna give it a go anyway. Knowing the fishing might be tough we headed out anyway into 15+ mph winds.

Like we expected, the fishing was not easy. We had to make a couple moves before we finally got on a few fish. Scott ended up catching a nice gator sized speckled trout in the mid 20″ range and a few other fish to go along with it.

We got off the water a little after noon.
